Making beautiful music

I have always wanted to learn how to play guitar! I think the acoustic guitar creates such a beautiful sound, its so soothing, and besides that everyone always goes nuts over someone who can play guitar!

My parents bought me a guitar a while ago, but it's just been sitting in my room collecting dust. I don't even know where to start. It sounds nice when other people play it, but I make it sound like shit. I feel like I'm disrespecting the damn thing...

I WANT TO LEARN! But its sooo hard! It's not like I don't have any musical talent, I have a great ear and I used to play clarinet! I was actually really good too, but the clarinet is SO NOT SEXY. A guitar is... :) My mom plays the piano, but my ADD would decide to come out extra strong during those lessons.

Guitars always look so good in pictures! They make the pictures automatically have an artistic sort of feel. Don't you think so?!
I know that it takes a lot of time and dedication to learn how to play and I just dont know if I'm ready to start a relationship with this hunk of wood. Maybe I would spend more time on it if it were pink!

I think my guitar hates me by the way...
Can't you tell that I am SO INTO the off-the-shoulder look! :)Oh yeah!
Now we make beautiful music! (tee hee)
