Trick or Treat - My Jasmine Costume & LOTD!

I hope everyone had an incredibly fun and safe Halloween! Halloween is always fun! You get to dress up and go around town collecting loads of candy you can later trade with siblings and friends!

Baby's fever was all gone and we wanted to take him Trick or Treating so he can enjoy Halloween and also get in all the nice fresh air!

JJ was dressed up as a Yankee's player since Jerrid is a huge Yankee's fan and they were playing that night! They did win so JJ must have brought them good luck!

My neices wore their costumes as well! Maria was a Go Go Girl, and Teresa was a Southern Belle! How cute do they look!

I just threw on a Yank's jersey so I can match my lil bub, and Jerrid wore a Yankee's hat.

They meant business too! They would knock, say their Trick or Treating lines, thank the person, and be off like the wind to the next house!

We all wanted some dessert, so we headed over to Cracker Barrel to have some pies and cakes! The ice cream is too good to pass up!

Gotta love Cracket Barrel shop

My cherry cobbler - yum!

Jerrid's apple pie

Baby wanted some too!

Had to get the table game!
This thing keeps you entertained and it's only $2.75

Baby is feeling all better but since he had a little fever the day before, Jerrid and I called off any plans to go out this weekend. We want to be right by our baby's side! He needs lots of love and attention! His second little toothy is making it's way up, so it can get painful for the little fella! Instead, when baby took a nap, I played dress up, just to keep the spirit! Besides, JJ laughed his little belly off when he woke up and laid his eyes on his silly mama!

I put on my Jasmine costume and did my makeup as best to her likeness as I could think of.

Of course I'll give you perfect details of how I did this look!

A close up of my face, of course after the Jasmine hair fell out!

I tried to edit the last photo to make it look all airbrushed and funky for my header. I don't have photoshop so I had to use some free internet program and I don't think I did a very good job, but I like it! I think it looks great in my header that Jaimie made for me!

What I used:

Face:
Avon Magix Face Primer
Bare Escentuals Mineral Foundation - Medium Tan
Bare Escenturlas - Faux Tan
Avon Concealer in Medium under eyes

Cheeks
MAC Gingerly blush to contour my cheeks
Mark - After Glo Blush on apples of cheeks and up the cheekbone

Eyes:
Covergirl Palette in Golden Sunset - used all 3 colors
MAC Black Tied eyeshadow
NARS eyeliner - Black Moon
Stile Kajal eyeliner - Onyx
Mark liquid eyeliner to top false lashes
False lashes from Wal-Mart

Lips:
Jordana lipliner - Rose Blush
MAC Lipstick - Brave New Bronze
Ulta lipgloss - Baby

Details:

I used Bare Escentuals because I was going for a medium coverage. I applied BE Faux Tan over the foundation to give me a Princess Jasmine tan! I think BE's Faux Tan is one of the best bronzers out there! It can be messy since it's a loose mineral powder, but if you're careful and apply just the right amount, it's one of the most natural looking bronzers I have ever used! No orangey look and very little shimmer.

I contoured my cheeks with MAC Gingerly blush. I only outlines the lower line under my cheek bone to give it a bit of a pop. I applyed my favorite shade of blush in After Glo by mark to my apples and all the up the cheekbone.

I brought back an old fave! My CoverGirl eyeshadow palette in Golden Sunset. I bought this a long time ago, but I'm sure it has got to still be in stores. The colors are all very pigmented and blend like magic. I used all 3 colors, but used the gold in the middle very lightly. I was going for more of a bronze look, but to make it blend, I applied a bit. I smoked the eye out and made a slight cat eye using MAC's Black Tied eyeshadow, which in my opinion is the best black MAC has. It's the darkest black I've seen from them, even though it does have shimmer in it.

I heavily lined my eyes and made a sever cat eye using NARS cream eyeliner in Black Moon. I lined the bottom lash line with Stila's Kajal liner in Onyx.

I applies my false lashes. I forgot the name and brand of these lashes, but they are the same ones I have used in preious looks! I bought them from Wal-Mart a few months ago. I used them for my Barbie look, remember that look? After I applied the lashes I lined the false lash line with mark liquid liner to seal it and remove any traces of lash glue.

I then took a very thin angled brush and applied some MAC Black Tied under my lower lash line to make my eyes really pop and get that heavily lined Jasmine eye.

Now on to my favorite part - the LIPS! I lined my lips with a Jordana lip liner in Rose Blush I got from the dollar store. This is my favorite liner! It's so creamy and easy to apply. I used my new MAC lipstick in Brave New Bronze for a darker nude lip like Jasmine's. I love this lipstick, it really gives off a very pretty nude color to your lips and it's very creamy and opaque. I topped it off with Ulta lipgloss in Baby to pinken it up a bit and soften the color.

Look how pretty it came out!

I wish I would have done a video tutorial on this look, but I'm sure these directions are pretty understandable! Basically, line the crap out of your eye!

Hope you like it!

xoxo,

It sure looks like you all had a great time trick-or-treating, I know that I did! Also, love both of the costumes. Awesome Princess Jasmine look, nice hair and great bod! I heart your makeup and that you used a lot of basic products, nothing too fancy! And if you still wanna do the video, you can still do it for fun, it seems pretty fun.
